So, I'm not a teen like the series is aimed at, but I love the Maximum Ride series. I was a little confused thinking this book would be from Fang's perspective instead of Max's, but I quickly got over that and fell into the plot line. It is a quick read for most adults, but I think anyone who's read the rest of the series will like this addition. If you haven't read the first books, I highly recommend reading them first THEN getting into this one. James Patterson always trys to recap the first books, but it's best if you just read them for yourself instead of the three sentence update he gives.
FYI, there are rumors of the Maximum Ride series being made into a movie, but the release has been pushed back until 2013.

Personally I love all Patterson's books but this was auesome! The ending was very heartfelt but it grabbed my full attention. When i finnished I litterally jus sat there....thinking OMG. Any way it was good just like the rest of his books so read it!

This is a really good book in the Maximum Ride series. Be sure to read the other ones first, though! This one especially contains stuff you don't want to know unless you've gotten up to that point.

This book includes another "bird kid" who is supposedly Max's "perfect other half". Dr. Gunther-Haägen-Daas (or whatever his name is) Is trying to "help" the flock and the rest of the world with his crazy antibodies that can overcome just about anything, including growing body parts back.

FANG is , no doubt about it, the most exciting, most romantic, most fun maximum ride book yet! James Patterson has done really good with this book. And what really is cool is... he already has a new max ride book! its called ANGEL. it comes out on February 14th, 2011. (Long wait :0) So anyone who is a huge max fan, pick up Fang NOW!

What a good read. If you enjoy reading a little mystery and a little make believe this is a great read... Have read all the books in the series and would recomand it to all ages... it is great
